About The Course
It is a comprehensive journey through the rich landscape of Hadith studies. This course is designed to help you understand Hadith literature—the recorded sayings, actions, and approvals of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which, alongside the Quran, forms the cornerstone of Islamic knowledge and practice.

Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Yahya Noori
Professor of Microbiology and Director Digital Learning at Dow University of Health Sciences. Certified religious scholar and has completed his 8 years of “Shahadat ul Alamia’ from “Wifaq ul Madaris ul Arabia’ and an MA in Islamic Studies from Karachi University along with being a Faculty member at Hidayah Academy and Al-Furqan Institute in Karachi PhD in Infection and Immunity from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2013. He also holds an MBA in Marketing and an MSc in Organizational Psychology. Master of Health Professionals Education (MHPE) from The Aga Khan University.

Course Overview
Over the next 17 weeks, we will dive into the Hadith collection. We’ll learn how Islamic scholars carefully gathered these narrations and ensured they were authentic, which will help us in our everyday lives. We’ll also explore how the Hadith literature was put together, from its beginnings to how scholars sorted and classified the Hadith.

The Final Exam will be held at the end of the course(approximately one month after the final live lecture of the course) and will be a Graded And Timed Exam.
